BrainHealth is a cross-border research project co-funded by the EU Interreg SK-AT programme. It focuses on preventing neurodegenerative diseases by examining how nutrition and structured physical activity, together with the identification of early biological markers, can promote healthy brain ageing.
The study investigates older, predominantly healthy adults without apparent cognitive impairment. Its aim is to generate evidence to inform future prevention strategies and to advance the understanding of brain ageing and neurodegeneration.
